<description>[...] Review of the Amazon KindleBy manateemedia Suburbanmom reviews the Amazon Kindle ebook reader. It comes in a fancy box with a lot of packaging, but could be worse. <description>Many people do not pay attention to the coverage provided by the Sprint network. But even if you are outside it, the Kindle supports a second network (I am okay myself, so can't give you the exact info on it, but it is available from Kindle). In addition, if you are in a foreign country, you can copy things to your hard drive and then send it by email direct to your Kindle -- no network needed other than your email account and your PC.

My understanding is that the wireless network will expand greatly over the future -- for example to the UK, etc., and this will become less of a problem.

I really love my Kindle, and am sorry for anyone who doesn't understand the joy it can bring to an avid reader like myself -- reading since age 5, and now 81 years old. It even allows me to read with larger type to save my eyesight. Try that on a dead tree book.
