Stacy from BookStoreBook.com reviews The Darkest Evening of the Year by Dean Koontz.
Joy reviews the book How To Care For Aging Parents by Virginia Morris. It is more of an encyclopedia of with all of the important topics that you need to know including financial, medical, emotional, etc. It is also very well indexed so you can get information in a hurry. If you have aging parents or are in the elder care business, this is a book you will want to get your hands on.
Spinebreakers gives a book review of Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser. This book will probably make you think twice the next time you consider eating at McDonald’s.
Stuart reviews Harold McGee’s 2004 revised edition of On Food and Cooking. This is quite possibly the most important book on the culinary arts. This isn’t a book of recipes, but more of a collection of the hows and whys of all of the things that go on in the kitchen.
Bethany reviews Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the 6th book in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. She read this 652 page book in one day, so it’s gotta be good. Something tells me J.K. Rowling must have some serious bling by now.
Frank from Gearthblog.com reviews Off the Map - The Most Amazing Sights on Earth as Seen by Satellite, a book which features some of the many satellite images you can see with Google Earth. At first the book may seem small, but once you open it up and take a look at the excellent satellite imagery, the book will likely grow on you.
Righty007 reviews the book “James Bond: The Secret World of 007″. I’m guessing that the book is actually decent, but the main point he makes is that if you have already bought the first edition which came out in the year 2000, you don’t need to buy the new edition. It looks like they simply updated the cover and added a few pages, but that’s about it.
The Angry Aussie reviews the children’s book When I’m Feeling Angry. From this review it looks like an excellent book for your kids. It is fantastic…but the only thing he doesn’t like about this book is it wasn’t written by him!
If you’ve spent a long enough time on the web, chances are you may have heard about The Rich Jerk money making ebook. I’ve often wondered if it is just another scam, but after this review think it could possibly be worth buying. Maybe. Anyway, check out hotbizz.com and their review of The Rich Jerk ebook.
