Review of Slots-A-Fun Casino in Las Vegas

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

Scott from VegasAtThirty.com reviews Slots-A-Fun casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.  If you’re not a big high roller, or perhaps you are almost out of money while visiting in Vegas, make a mental note to visit Slots-O-Fun on the north end of the strip.  They have penny slots, $1 blackjack, craps and more.  They have cheap margaritas and you can get any beer (imported, exported, etc.) for only $1.60.  Also check out their world famous 99 cent hot dogs.

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

One of our favorite reviewers is at it again…. this time reviewing the Tastee Diner in Bethesda, Maryland.  C’mon…where else can you find a diner with minature jukeboxes at each table?  That alone gives this diner a 5 star rating!  ;)  Check out Wildbill1911A1’s other reviews and videos, while yer at it!

The Flip Camcorder Review

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

Mike from the Detroit Free Press reviews the Flip camcorder, a palm-sized device that its in a shirt pocket and records great audio and video.  This video was made with the Ultra version of the camcorder.  It is the one of the handiest video cameras you’ll use and probably the most affordable, too.

The Flip has a USB port that flips out (maybe that’s why they call it what they do?) and connects directly to your PC or Mac.  Mike demonstrates how easy it is to upload your videos to your computer and thinks this is one gift you’ll want to find under your Christmas tree.

Key West, Florida Review

Friday, December 7th, 2007

Key West, Florida is an excellent place to visit, but is a bit expensive.  It is the closest thing to being in the Caribbean without leaving the United States, so that is a big plus.  Key West is mainly geared towards adults, so you might wanna leave the kids at home.  Anyway, check out this review for more details..

Amazon Kindle eBook Reader Review

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

Mike from the Detroit Free Press reviews Amazon’s new ebook reader - the Kindle.  One of the coolest things about the Kindle is that it comes with a free internet connection that lets you connect to Amazon.com to purchase books… and rumor has it that you can browse the web with this as well.  It obviously is a good ebook reader, but I think what Amazon should do is sell the Kindle for around $99 and worry about making money back from selling books.  We’ll see… I suspect the price will drop after Christmas.

Spongebob Digital Camera Review

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

StormanCast.TV reviews the Spongebob Squarepants kids digital camera and it basically fails.  You need a lot of light for the pictures to turn out and when they do turn out they are pixellated.  The software that comes with the camera is useful, but if you want to get your kid a digital camera I recommend spending a little bit of extra money and get them a real one.  I can say this with experience as I’ve played around with these $20 digital cameras and they are a complete waste of money and will probably only irritate your kid.  Get them a real digital camera and they will be happier AND will learn a thing or two about technology.  :)
